Image of Jason Spicer Jason Spicer is a Managing Director of DTZ Rockwood. Among his duties, he has served as Director of Research since 2003, managing the firm’s property and capital markets research capabilities in support of its transactional and advisory services. In addition to conducting top-down and bottom-up market research for all DTZ Rockwood client engagements, Mr. Spicer and his team frequently publish research addressing a broad range of emerging industry trends. Over the course of his career, he has researched, evaluated and analyzed more than $50 billion in US and international real estate assets, encompassing all major commercial property types, more than 50 US metropolitan areas, and all four quadrants of public and private debt and equity. Mr. Spicer has also appeared as a speaker at a wide range of industry events, such as the annual meetings of BOMA and ULI, and has guest lectured at graduate real estate programs.

Prior to joining DTZ Rockwood, Mr. Spicer was Manager of Investment Strategy & Research for ING Clarion, where he was responsible for production of property market and return forecasts and related underwriting assumptions for use in valuing both potential and existing assets, as well as writing original topical research on real estate investment strategies. Previously, Mr. Spicer served in a similar capacity as Assistant Director of Research & Analytics in Cushman & Wakefield’s Advisory Group, providing market analysis and consulting services for cross-border institutional investors and Fortune 500 corporations. Mr. Spicer completed a prestigious Graduate Fellowship at the University of California-Berkeley, and holds B.A. degrees in Economics and Sociology from the Johns Hopkins University.
